Ilsa Evans

Ilsa Evans lives in a partially renovated house (mostly held together by overladen bookshelves) in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. She shares her home with her three children (off and on), a multitude of possums and two psychotic dogs—neither of which are hers. She completed a PhD at Monash University in social and political inquiry and now teaches sociology and community services at Chisholm TAFE on the Mornington Peninsula. Stratification is her fourteenth novel, but her first foray into speculative fiction.
