A collection of Glenn A. Baker?s best and favourite travel articles.

It brings us his wry observations and sense of humour as he travels to Cuba and meets Castro himself; considers the moral dilemma of travelling to Burma; attends a Naadam - a festival of horseracing, archery and wrestling in Mongolia; or waxes lyrical over the streets of Slovenia. It is his romance with the world and its highways, byways and cul-de-sacs, with travel and observation, with absurdities and unexpected illuminations, that led the Sunday Age to conclude that 'Baker thrills knowledgeably about ancient history and modern quirks and makes it all sound like loads of fun .. he is never less than entertaining.
