Reptiles of Australia ID Chart

This easy-to-use fold-out chart depicts some of the crocodile, snake, lizard and turtle species most commonly encountered in Australia, as well as a few of the rarer and more spectacular ones. Each has at least one photo and some facts about the animal, including its typical size when fully grown, either as Total Length (TL) from the tip of its head to the tip of its tail, its Snout-Vent Length (SVL) for lizards that can drop their tail, or Shell Length (SL) for turtles. Included in each account are details of habitat and the states and territories where the species might be seen.
