John W. Wrigley
John W. Wrigley AM, BSc. (1934–2014) developed his knowledge of the Australian flora over more than 40 years. He was Curator of the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra for 14 years and designed botanic gardens in Coffs Harbour, Mildura and Tamworth, as well as a nature park at Port Macquarie. He had ten other books on native plants published and in 1983 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to the cultivation and study of Australian flora.
