Susan Edmunds is a senior business journalist who specialises in personal finance issues, writing both long-form and daily news coverage. She started her career as the editor of a university magazine before moving into radio, and finally online news.
She enthusiastically ignored all maths classes through secondary school but has since realised that those dreaded numbers make a huge impact on many people’s lives and has developed a close relationship with her calculator.
She is driven by a desire to boost financial literacy and to make as many people as possible – particularly women – realise that it’s not as hard or intimidating as some people might wish it to appear.
She lives with her two small children and accountant husband.
