Bobby Barter was the Sydney Cricket Ground's incumbent home room attendant. Behind the scenes for Cricket NSW and Australian cricket team's dressing room, he has seen it all.
This is a collection of personal recollections, anecdotes of Australia's top players including Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden, Merv Hughes, Justin Langer, Simon Katich, Brett Lee, Stuart MacGill, Glenn McGrath and more. These are the yarns, repartee and light-hearted frivolity of the superstars of cricket as well as the challenges and pressures they face. Entwined with Bobby's cricket knowledge, facts and figures and lots of nostalgia, all of these dressing room stories show the life behind the scenes of cricket.
