A collection of eighteen cleverly constructed crime stories.
A brutal homicide on a cattle station in the Northern Territory: who framed the stockman? An ad in the personal column for the clients of ?Spiderwoman?: why is it only once a year? Can the obsessed violin teacher be trying to murder his beautiful student? In this collection, Brian Bock presents eighteen cleverly constructed crime stories, some with a uniquely Australian flavour. Their unpredictable endings have a sting in the tale, and will satisfy all readers of crime fiction. BRIAN BOCK has been a teacher, a script writer and actor and a painter. He has lived all over Australia and is now living in Queensland. BRIAN BOCK was born in Maffra, Victoria, in 1932. After teaching in Victoria for thirty years, and writing a book on education, he retired to Sydney where he became actively involved in amateur theatre, writing several musical plays for children and two stage plays in the Agatha Christie genre. Brian is also a painter and for several years he had his own art gallery in Kangaroo Valley, a picturesque New South Wales village. Now residing in Queensland, Brian has turned his hand to writing crime stories.
